I love it. Shot and reloaded tens of thousands of rounds, most shot in competition. I like versatility in a gun and the maggie is very versitile. Can be loaded up or down. I am not very big and rounds loaded to a little over 'factory' do not bother me. Max-max loads with 300 gr. or heavier bullets can be very tiring.
Since damaging my shoulders my Redhawk has retired to the gun safe. Sadly.
