BJP, Only recently (metal price spike) have slugs gone much over $.50 per shot... I no longer plink with much of anything bigger than a .22lr... Even the venerable ol' thirty thirty is not a real cheap plinker to most workin' folks... Actually they are getting quite pricey too... Last I looked they were way north of $15.00 per 20 round box and premium rounds are north of $20 per 20...
I just recently noticed seeing a mold for your basic foster rifled slugs... That got me thinking about that option... I am still thinking that one day I will be reloading shotgun loads and slugs would have to be part of that if I do...
