Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) when hunting any migratory game birds, except woodcock, on any land or waters of the state of Iowa. Nontoxic shot currently approved by the USFWS includes: steel, bismuth-tin, tungsten-bronze, tungsten-iron (two types), tungsten-matrix, tungsten-nickel-iron, tungsten-polymer, tungsten-tin-bismuth, tungstentin-iron, tungsten-iron-copper-nickel, and tungsten-tin-iron-nickel.
