The Ruger letter is OK but could be improved.
The GOA site is gone.
All Representatives and Senators have web sites. An e-mail letter is more effective than a paper one. Paper letters get held up for inspection. e.g. white powder.
Keep in mind that the legislators do not read your letters. They get briefings and summations about the tone of the letters received on a subject.
So, state your postion briefly and politely and ask for support of your position. They do not need all the arguments for/against an issue, they already know them.
