I shoot USPSA (simply the US "division" of IPSC) regularly and do quite well. I have only been shooting local matches but plan on moving up to bigger, regional matches. I shoot a Glock 17 that has been modified, but still fits into production class and can compete in the limited class as well. The modifications are as follows:

-4.5lb connector (this and the cruciform is polished)
- Reduced power firing pin spring and recoil spring
- "Dawson Precision" sights (Fiber optic front)
- "AGrip" wrap around gip tape
- and, of course... the "Punisher" slid cover plate cause I’m so darn cool
