Hi All,

This is my first post here but I have been reading this forum for months collecting info for a rifle build I am planning. I realize this topic is old but hopfully my question is relavant.

I have a Rem 700 in .300 Win Mag. It has the Long Action and Detachable Mag. For some reason, Choate does not make ANY stocks that will work for this combination (LA & DM). I have called Choate directly and they have confirmed this, however the lady i talked to could not explain WHY this was so.

Does anyone have any idea WHY Choate does not make this stock (or any others) for Long Action w/Detachable Mag?

What other options do I have?
