I'm thinking if you want a new double action in the $450.00 range you will be limited. If you want a used revolver, your still going to be limited. I looked for a used double action revolver in 44 Mag but what I found was everyone who had a 44 Mag wanted to keep it. You however may be luckier than I was.
If your willing to accept a single action I'm sure you can find a Blackhawk thats in your stated price range.
