Tried it a few times when I was deployed. It was good for blowing the dust out of the grip frame and some exposed areas, but thats about all I was able to accomplish. To do a real good cleaning job, the old-school way is still the best.

Strictly speaking, it is moisture free IN THE CAN. However, when air (or any gas for that matter) is rapidly de-pressurized, its temperature drops and condenses moisture out of the ambient air. So the moisture isnt coming from the can, its coming from the air around you.
