Ruger LC9 - Galloway Trigger info wanted...

Looks like Galloway is coming out with some neat stuff for the LC9. I am particularly interested in the trigger modification. I've read some reviews, watched some videos, etc. Has anyone here actually gone forward with the Galloway trigger mod? If so, does it really reduce takeup and trigger pull in half, like some have claimed? I notice that the trigger pull is a bit lighter too - is there any risk of light strikes because of this? Light strikes are a big concern of mine with this particular gun, because it doesn't have second strike capability.

My LC9 runs flawlessly. The trigger is acceptable to me. I would be all over this modification if I didn't have to send in my original Ruger parts to try it out. The idea of reducing pull by 1/2 is intriguing - would permit some fairly rapid follow-up shots. However, I don't want to sacrifice any reliability (and my irreplaceable Ruger parts). Thoughts?
