Look at some Nikon Travelites. I've had a pair of 9x25 for going on 20 years. They don't quite fit in a shirt pocket, but they're only 9 or 10 ounces and should run $100 or so. They used to come in 10x, 9x, 8x and 7x23 iirc. Maybe a 12x years ago.
Great color, no eyestrain. I've used them duck hunting and they didn't leak in the rain and sleet and snow, etc. They aren't waterproof either.
