England has some very strict firearms and as such, most handguns are banned. As of August 2002, Pardini and Morini have produced free pistol prototype designs for introduction into the UK market. Legal specifications include a 300mm barrel and an overall length of 600mm. Currently, the word is that lawmakers and shooters are happy with the design. Initial comments are positive, citing that the pistol, although it looks unwieldy, is very well balanced. They aren't available yet, but it looks promising for enthusiasts who have to make do with air pistols.
