If you want a 1911 to start with Springfeild Loaded or a Para Limited are good ways to go. Dawson Precision has a enhanced model race ready of the Para-14 or 16. The Para is real easy to find hi-caps for limited. If you have a bigger cash flow SVI and STI make great limited guns. The STI Edge is ready for limited. I would take the advice about the mags. Make sure you go factory and for the single stack Wilson is hard to beat.
