I am getting ready to start teaching concealed carry classes, the instructor class that I took was very informative but they did not give me a timeline for how long each subject is to take.

I have been asked by just about every sheriff's dept I have called to get them a class syllabus and to give them a timeline for how long each of the subjects is to take.

Do any of you have a timeline I could use to give them or any idea if there is a subject that should take longer than others.

1st part of class

Lesson 1 Pistol Knowledge and safe handling
Lesson 2 Ammunition Knowledge
Lesson 3 Fundamentals of pistol shooting
Lesson 4 Firing the first shots

2nd part of class

Lesson 1 Training and preperation
Lesson 2 Missouri Statutory firearm laws
Lesson 3 Mindset, Ethics, and color codes
Lesson 4 Common misconceptions and mistakes
Lesson 5 Firearms choices and carry methods

Marksmanship Qualification

50 rounds practice
20 rounds scored qualification for permit

Written test ( 20 question multiple choice )
