Excellent advice. At least one of the FBI agents in the Miami shootout drew his weapon and placed it on the seat while chasing the suspects. In the ensuing car-stop which involved some bumping and banging, the gun flew off the seat and the agent was unable to find it while under fire. He was forced to use his backup gun during the shootout.
