I use the 165gr SST in the '06 and have killed a few elk and deer with them. At closer range they do blow up some, the ones I've recovered had about the same retained weight as a partition. They do cause more shock IMO and put them down fast if you place them right. I'm happy with them, and they shoot very well in my '06es.
