=JimPageI don't know the law in your state, but in NY state it is illegal to leave a loaded firearm in your unattended car. Loaded means ammunition and gun in the same compartment. So the safest thing to do is to carry the unloaded gun and leave the ammunition. Or next is to carry the ammo and leave the gun.

IMHO neither option is very good.

I'll keep that in mind if I'm ever in NY.

I looked at those as well but my steering column is too short for the pistol.

I had the stuff for the velcro option around the house so I rigged it up yesterday. Not too bad...time will tell if it holds. Nothing permanent if not.
