AA 3100 is the powder I use to make my 270 featherweaight shoot dime size groups. I just looked at the can I have and it says XMR 3100. I just also looked in my accurate book and they don't say anything about the M at the front of your can of 3100. IIRC The older cans of powder had a "M". This XMR that I have is in a new can. I don't remember the XMR there before?

This what my book says

3100- A single base extruded propellant that serves well from the 243 winchester to the big magnums, particularly the 7mm Remington magnum. It has proven to be a cost effective replacement for IMR-4831 and H 4831. This is the powder used by Earl Liebatrau to win the camp Perry Wimbledon match in 1988 and 1990. Available from Accurate since 1977.

My book shows AA4350 and then AA3100 and then AA8700. I would give AA a email and ask just to give you some peace of mind and know for sure.
