For your price point, look at the fnar, you can add iron sights to the rail, with the rail and ejector configuration, it is easier to scope than the M1A...and scope reliably. Mine shoots sub MOA @ 100 yards and presumably beyond that, but with ammo availability, I have not tried much in the way of longer groupings. Not a light gun, but not bad either.
