Are you using a headspace gauge and OAL gauge/bullet comparator?
With the "old" barrel, my best was with the 150 SMK over 44.5 of H4350 at 2,571 fps- out of a 20" barrel. Five shot cloverleafs at 100, no problems banging a 10" plate at 600 yards with it- and that was with the Savage factory barrel.
I prefer the temp-stable powders...
