I have a 1911 Colt .22. Virtually identical in feel, it has extensive commonality with the parent, just as a .22 cal upper on an AR. I don't say that to disdain the poly-plastic pistols you propose. It's just that I do find some merit in the arguments usually found on the " Best plastic AR posts". Now if the USP Tactical was chambered in .22, I'd be right there with you.
