NO !! guns are NOT designed to "KILL".., they are designed to fill a need in the market, target shooting, varmint control, home protection, etc., no one gun can full-fill every situation, e.g., i prefer a double action pistol like the SIG P226 over a single action 1911A1......., BUT !! i prefer the 1911A1 for it's knock down power.
