After 10+years of high and tight and a baby-butt face (except on leave-mayhaps I came to associate facial hair w/ freedom and R&R?) .... I got right shaggy, and for years, after I got out....... joined the local VFD, and had to lose it- SCBA doesn't seal any better than an M-17 if you have a beard .....
