Just got back from the range...

and if you wanna light your hair on fire, I just witnessed a load a colleague from Kennedy Space Center has been using in his Glocks. Using +P+ Federal brass, he runs 6.5 grains of WW231 behind a 115gr FMJ bullet, seated out about as far as his magazine will allow. (And NO, I wouldn't recommend this load for anybody other than the person trying for a record themself) It chrono'ed well over 1250 fps out of his baby Glock, as well as my all-steel Kahr K-9. Odd thing was, the brass looked good, as did the primer, but you knew there was something coming out of the muzzle end faster than normal. He worked up to this load, and decided to stop at that level. Brave soul.
