It's likely a .38/200 British Service Revolver (Model K-200). S&W made these for England a few years before and during WWII. They are chambered in 38S&W, not to be confused with the more common 38 special.

Thanks Jim. That has been my confusion in reading up on this revolver, most people have it listed as a .38 special. Thanks again.
