Bought my wife the Mossberg Turkey Thug 20 gauge for her birthday along with the Laserlyte Kryptonite Center Mass. Want to mount this on the foreend using the Laserlyte tri rail picatanny adapter. As the adapter is built for most 12 gauge guns would it work with the 20?

I really don't want to mount it on the top as that would negate the current fiber optic sights there.
