Turkey hunting is my focus and forte....with a shotgun, the base of the neck is prime...

Taking this shot with s standard broadhead is risky..if you shoot too low in the neck where it joins the body you can miss spine and vitals.

The wing is not going to deflect the arrow at 15 or 20 yards...often archers turn the poundage down on the bows to prevent quick pass throughs(I shoot 60 pou ds for turkeys and 85 for deer).
