The ammo you are talking about is probably M855 milsurp. Why would you want it as opposed to other rounds? I guess if you're afraid someone with body armor coming after you in your home then that's a legitimate concern but I think that's being a little too paranoid if you ask me. If you want it just for showing off, novelty, or to try out at the range one afternoon then for a 1-time purchase $1.50/rd shouldn't be too bad.

Also, I'd be careful if it's something you saw at a gun show. About 50% of the retailers I've seen at shows are completely full of $#!*. Don't get ripped off.
