I think the scope is a Norman-Ford scope. There may be some info, stamped on the scope turret sides, between the turrets.

In the early 1950s, the Norman-Ford Co. of Tyler, Texas, introduced a line of high-quality hunting scopes.
All featured hard coated lens, the choice of crosswire, post, post and crosswire or Dot reticules, and had dust caps as standard.

FWIW, Norman-Ford is last listed as a suplier of scopes in the 1958 Gun Digest.
