i dont plan on "Battling" or "Assaulting" anyone with this rifle. so i guess you could say ive been on the hunt for a "308 sporting/hunting/marksman rifle"
i dont think im going to be taking my rifle apart "excessively". if she needs cleaned, then ill clean it properly. i cant imagine properly disassembling a rifle could wear it out...the M14's the Military uses im sure have been taken apart and put back together millions of times!
The M1A has always been on my wishlist as have the FAL and the G3.
I just happened to stumble upon a M1A first while i had money burning a hole in my pocket
the FAL and the G3 are still on the list...just quite a ways down now
