Grand Power P1 MK7 questions...

I have been interested in the STI GP6 for some time. My understanding is that it is basically the same gun as the Grand Power from Slovakia. However, I notice that the magazines that come with the GP6 are 17 rounds. The Grand Power P1 seems are advertised as having 15 or sometimes 16 round magazines. Is this the only difference? Are there any upgrades on the STI GP6 over the Grand Power, or are they identical?

The reasons why I am so interested in the GP6/Grand Power are:
1. True DA/SA, hammer fired, manual safety and no trigger dingus (this is important to me)
2. Polymer frame - looking for something that is about as light as my Glock 17, as reliable as my Glock 17, but DA/SA and a gun that I can shoot more accurately than my Glock 17.

Basically, I am looking to swap out my Glock 17 for something like the STI GP6 or Grand Power, but it has to be as reliable and durable as the Glock, with the accuracy and trigger I'd expect from something like a Hi-Power. Any detailed information would be helpful.
