So after I went back to Bass Pro Shop, I found out they are not going to carry this safe any longer, and it is the last one. It is the display model with no scratches. They did say they would take $30 off of the $650 price since it was a floor model. I still need to get to the bottom of the warranty issue. Some RedHead safes with Granite Safe serial numbers come with lifetime warranties, and this one, only comes with a 5 year warranty from Granite with the option to buy up to a 10 year for an extra $100. I wasnt aware that they had multiple types of warranties.
Should I feel good about this price, $620 for this size of safe? However, I did not see any stickers about UL ratings. Come to think of it, I didnt see any UL stickers on any of the RedHead safes at Bass Pro Shop.
So because of the 5 year warranty and the lack of UL rating, would all of you feel comfortable buying this safe at this price point?
