I have a saiga 12 and 7.62x39 and like them both. Conversation is not that hard to do at all. I did both mine.
As far as the 12 FUN GUN and especially after conversion FUN GUN. Honestly most people have never seen one and people are always asking me about. Kind of like an AK on steroids especially with a ten round magazines.
