Should the barrel be less than 18" in length it is not legal and should be removed and destroyed. Not stored, but cut up. Start at the chamber end and cut it into multiple sections.

Then browse for a barrel for a model 12 and restore the gun to it's original condition.

This is all assuming of course that this is not a properly registered SBS which I doubt.
