Got to get it figured out for sure. Under the circumstances, those shots were both very makeable. The gun (and me behind it) shoots 2 inches or so at 100. Last time at the range I hit a (fairly large) apple at 45-ish yards, off hand.
Right now, I suspect the scope got knocked. I don't know how but replaying the shots in my mind I can't imagine why I would have missed.
Maybe I'll just find out that I screwed up. Don't know.
