Just thought I'd post a bit more support for hunting with a 357 out to 150 yards... it's an article at leverguns.com, and has quite a bit of very specific load and velocity data, plus interesting comparisons to deer and bear-killing cartridges of old. The data is completely and irrefutably conclusive: at ranges up to 150 yards and loaded to the upper parts of the SAAMI spec, the 357 is more than enough power to take most animals in the US.
