A friend asked me to check on a gun his mother has inherited. It is a K-22, 6inch barrel, original grips. I think it is post-WWII...1945 to early 50's, but I'm not sure. The serial number is K 664xx. I've read there is a book that provides this information, but as I don't have any other S&Ws to look up, I hoped someone here might share the information. Thanks very much.
