Hi all, Solved the problem. Googled "stuck round in xd9". Page with pictures came up. They however were dealing with a live round. Just hold front of rear sight against hard edge, engage grip safety and push hard. after a couple of trys slide came back and stuck round ejected. Only damage was to some skin on my thumb. Well as BO says "life is hard"!!!!! Shoot straight and stay safe............
