Typically this is the case. I think what he was getting at is it would basically be a ground up design with different envelope dimensions on nearly every component. The amount of effort Glock would have to put into it would be immense. And for what? Their current guns sell Very well and this new single stack gun would be more "niche" than anything they currently make. Which equates to a lower potential market for a lot of effort. Glock being Glock I cant help but think they've probably run the numbers and found it to be a fiscally irresponsible endeavor which is why we haven't seen it.
I'm 6'0 135 lbs and can conceal a G19 with ease and comfort. To me really no need to go single stack and limit capacity for no reason.
