Its no problem Pahoo. I never thought anything about what you wrote. I offered to let him store his guns at my house so he didn't have to sell. Frankly I think they need the money also. He is looking for work. Unsuccessfully.
I went and looked at the gun closer. It does say Norinco and made in China. I figured out how to remove the scope. Thats a neat scope base. You can remove the scope and it will go back to zero.
So I popped off the top cover and removed the bolt and and piston. If this gun has ever been fired accept at the factory I would be surprised. It is pristine on the inside. The milling marks on the rails are not worn at all. I don't like the thumbhole stock but I can live with it. I may have a keeper.
