I measured a bunch of 357s, my reloads and factory rounds, the make the 1.5 inch overall length it calls for.

A normal 357 wont develop 500 ft lbs at 100 yard out of a revolver, but you'll notice the link says OR not And.

I figure they realize (rightly so) that a hand gun hunter isn't going to be shooting at 100 yards anyway.
