It's fixed!

I received the new striker in the mail ($17 inc tax and shipping). I didn't want to bend or damage the striker assembly when removing the existing striker, so my local gunsmith helped me out with that ($15). Putting it back together was easy; they aren't too complicated.

I had to wait a few days to get out to the range and test the repair, but I'm happy to report--It works!
