I read an article in which Elmer Keith described using a .44 magnum to hit an outhouse at several hundred yards. Not to be outdone

I promptly grabbed up a four-inch *&* .357 and tried it.

Got to where I could consistently hit a paint bucket at a hundred yards, but never tried any further--the target was just too darn small.
