Well, that'd be to have the wife call 911 again and lie, "I think my husband just shot the guy; remember when you come that the guy with the gun is the

Personally, here I usually have a DVD camera handy and charged, so I'd probably slam the door on his legs, and
then start filming his egress. Even if he simply fled, he'd be limping. If he wanted more than that, well....
