I'm not sure what vest you're talking about but I have a Coronado leather vest that has two pockets. One pocket is on the right and the other is on the left. Both are holsters designed to accommondate mid-small size guns.
I paid around $200 for my vest. It works very well with either my 1911 officer's size or Kahr K9, P9, MK9.
