I've had my keypad handgun safe on my nightstand for a while now, but after watching a show on TV I'd like to get it permanently bolted/screwed to something more substantial, yet accessible.

Just bolting it to the wall crossed my mind, but...where? And what about stud spacing. Don't really want it on the floor to be honest, probably chest height.
