You could get a Ciener kit and run 22 subsonic through your AR but make sure you put some regular 223 rounds down the can afterwards to blow the crap out. 22 through a can makes it very dirty.
Better still, get a 45 upper and new can for your AR. Most 45 rounds are subsonic to start!!
