40 Grain .223 load.
Hey all, when I normally put a load together I will press nine or twelve together, go to the range, fire them, make adjustments and repeat. I don't have time for that today because I am going varmint hunting tomorrow. I am asking for some input on your favorite 40 Grain load with a bolt action rifle. They will be going through the Savage Model 12FVSS. The bullets I am using are Nosler 40Grain Ballistic Tip. I know I could just pick a load out of a book but if there is anything out there that you might have that is tried, tested and true that would be great.
