I had an Uberti Paterson a while back that I never intended to shoot but I gave it to the urge and it was total frustration. The cylinder would bind after 3 rounds and nothing seemed to solve the problem. I tried several different lubes and even tried it dry and the result was the same, 3 rounds and the cylinder would bind. I called Uberti about the problem and was told to send the gun in for inspection. They called me and told me there was a "design problem" with the gun that could not be corrected and asked what would I like as a replacement. I tried to get an answer as to the "design problem" being with the original design or Uberti's design but didn't get anywhere. If you do a search you should find others who had similiar problems with the Paterson.
