A few years ago a semi-retired teacher owed me $150 for a public history program we did. He said he had something in the trunk to show me first. It was a Hawken rifle he handled for history classes: it had only been test fired and he had another one NIB he was keeping to put over the mantle. This was perfect. I immediately saw it had set triggers. I found it was .50 (my "caliber"). It was a T/C. And it had all the accessories with instructions plus some caps and balls. He asked if I'd prefer that to the cash... I surpressed my disbelief and excitement and quietly agreed.

'course, then he kept trying to invite himself over to my house but at least he stopped talking to me when I firmly rebuffed what I finally recognized as "his advances," however, that's a story for a different kind of site.
