Any holster will wear on a gun over time. There's nothing you can do about it.

Personally I see a gun as a tool. I'm not going to abuse it or cause harm to it intentionally but I'm going to be more concerned on how well my gear and gun works than I am about getting a scratch or a little mark on it.
